Nanomedicine

Nanomedicine is the branch of nanotechnology devoted to facilitate medical diagnosis and to improve therapeutic methodologies. Nanomedicine does not only studies the role of specific molecules expression in living systems but addresses also the multiphysics interplay between organs,/tissues and pathology. A paradigmatic example is the design of macromolecule for targeted delivery of drugs, that involves very complex biochemical and biophysical interactions with the biological system.
