MOX researchers Nicola Parolini, Luca Dede’ and Christian Vergara have organized a mini-symposium dedicated to the mathematical and numerical modelling of COVID-19 at the 8th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering (ECCOMAS Congress 2022) that took place in Oslo on 5-9 June 2022. The mini-symposium aimed at creating an opportunity for researchers working on computational models related to COVID-19 (including among the others epidemiology, drugs effects, influences on respiratory and cardiovascular modeling) to discuss the main developments on such emerging topics, to exchange and compare new ideas, and to start new collaborations.
