Prof Paola Antonietti is the new Head of MOX Laboratory, on duty since January 2023, by appointment of the Director of the Department of Mathematics, prof Irene Sabadini. Paola succeeds Alfio Quarteroni, MOX founder and head for the period 2002-2022, recently retired but still active in many MOX research activities.
Professor of Numerical Analysis since 2019, Paola has a long experience in research and teaching, as well as coordinator of research tasks, and she has been involved in several institutional duties, as reported in her CV. At MOX since 2008, she has effectively contributed to develop and expand the quality and range of the activities and collaborations carried out at the laboratory up to the present worldly renowned level.
