Alfio Quarteroni has been awarded the Lagrange Prize by ICIAM, the International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, during the opening ceremony of the ICIAM 2023 Congress in Tokyo.
The Prize is awarded every 4 years to mathematicians who made an exceptional contribution to applied math throughout their careers.
