Francesco Regazzoni is the recipient of the Italian “Young Researchers Prize 2025” in the category “Artificial Intelligence”, conferred by “Gruppo 2003 per la Ricerca Scientifica” — the association that brings together Italy’s most highly cited scientists. The award recognizes an early-career researcher (under 36) for the innovation, originality, and impact of their research.
The prize was presented on November 11 during a ceremony held at the National Research Council (CNR) headquarters in Rome, in the presence of CNR President Andrea Lenzi, Gruppo 2003 President Rocco De Nicola, the members of the juries, and the sponsors who made the initiative possible.
The award in the Artificial Intelligence category was sponsored by FAIR – Future Artificial Intelligence Research, the Italian National Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, which promotes cutting-edge research and the transfer of AI technologies to society and industry.
