Alfio Quarteroni has been awarded the ECCOMAS Ritz-Galerkin Medal 2024. The Ritz-Galerkin Medal, awarded every four years, is the highest award given by the European Association for Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS), honoring individuals who have made outstanding, sustained contributions in the field of computational methods in applied sciences over periods representing substantial portions of their professional career.
Alfio received the ECCOMAS Ritz-Galerkin Medal in today’s award ceremony, during the Opening Ceremony of ECCOMAS2024 Congress.
