A researcher from the MOX Laboratory, Davide Riccobelli, has been awarded the IDEA League Fellowship. The research project aims at developing a theoretical and numerical model for fracture propagation within the framework of nonlinear elasticity, with a specific focus on applications in soft matter and in the modeling of living systems.
The research project will be carried out in collaboration with Dr. Bianca Giovanardi, assistant professor of Aerospace Structures and Computational Mechanics at TU Delft.
