ERC Synergy Grant 2023 awarded to Paola F. Antonietti In collaboration with the co-PIs Lourenco Beirao da Veiga, Daniele A. Di Pietro, Jerome Droniou

Paola F. Antonietti, together with Lourenco Beirao da Veiga (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Italy),  Daniele A. Di Pietro (Université de Montpellier, France), and Jerome Droniou (CNRS, France), have been awarded one of European science’s most prestigious grants. The ERC Synergy Grant will provide approximately EUR 7.8 million over the next six years for their “NEMESIS – NEw generation MEthods for numerical SImulationS” project.
The NEMESIS project aims to pave the way for next-generation simulators capable of tackling complex physical problems by overcoming current mathematical, numerical, and computational barriers. NEMESIS will also focus on proof-of-concept applications in sustainable development, including sustainable soil exploitation, clean energy production, and advanced manufacturing processes.
