AHEAD Project funded at the 16th Switch2Product Innovation Challenge


The project “AHEAD—Advanced AI Techniques for Early Detection and Personalized Monitoring in Alzheimer’s Disease” is one of the nine selected projects for the 16th edition of the Switch2Product Innovation Challenge.

The AHEAD project features a multidisciplinary team consisting of:
– Prof. Paola F. Antonietti, Dr. Stefano Pagani & Dr. Mattia Corti (MOX Laboratory, Department of Mathematics, Politecnico di Milano)
– Dr. Andrea Zanin & Dr. Samuele Dassatti (IoTique)
– Dr. Giuseppe di Fede & Dr. Valeria Crepaldi (Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta)

AHEAD has secured a grant, generously provided by the Camera di Commercio Milano Monza Brianza Lodi, to support its go-to-market strategy. In addition to the funding, the team will participate in a targeted mentoring program designed to facilitate capital raising, attract strategic investors, and enhance market scalability. The 16th edition of the Switch2Product Innovation Challenge attracted over 500 candidates, with 184 projects evaluated.

Switch2Product is the innovation programme designed to enhance the outcomes of research activities, promote an entrepreneurial culture, foster and support the creation of innovative startups emerging from the Politecnico di Milano ecosystem.

The Switch2Product awards ceremony took place during the Startup Opening Year 2025 event, which was opened by the Rector, Prof. Donatella Sciuto, and Prof. Marco Bocciolone, the Delegate for Technology Transfer and President of PoliHub.
