Abstract
MOX Researchers participated with a presentation and a laboratory on the role of numerical mathematics in geosciences to the San Pellegrino Summer School organized by the University of Bergamo. The event aims to foster interest and enthusiasm for the scientific method and mathematical thinking among students in their penultimate and final years of high school through a program consisting of lectures, conferences, debates, and laboratory activities that highlight the connections between mathematics, sustainability, and major contemporary challenges.
The activities are part of the project Dipartimento di Eccellenza 2023-2027, Dipartimento di Matematica, Politecnico di Milano.
