This talk aims at giving an overview on my research areas of interest. Starting from a brief introduction on my research activity before arriving at MOX – Polimi, I will then talk about my current work, focusing in particular on numerical methods to discretize and to perform uncertainty quantification for neurodegenerative diseases as well as for wave equations. Finally, I will discuss possible future developments.
