Don Bosco Village School Students Visit

The MOX Laboratory, together with the FDS laboratory (Department of Mathematics, Politecnico di Milano), organized an educational activity within the PLS (Piano Lauree Scientifiche) project for students from the Don Bosco Village School (Liceo Scientifico Sportivo). During the visit, students attended a seminar by Professor Nicola Parolini on “Mathematical modeling in sports” and participated in the interactive activity MATEC – Mathematics for Scenarios. The initiative demonstrated how mathematical models can be applied to real-world sports problems, such as optimizing rugby kicks, improving athletic performance, and understanding high-speed dynamics in racing.
