Abstract
Development and release of the MOOC “Computational Science & Computational Learning with Python and MATLAB – Hands-On Projects from Applied Science & Engineering”, created by the MOX Laboratory (Department of Mathematics, Politecnico di Milano). The course provides a structured introduction to scientific computing and computational learning, combining mathematical modelling, numerical simulation, and data-driven techniques using Python and MATLAB. Designed with a hands-on, project-based approach, it enables learners to tackle real-world engineering and scientific problems and develop key computational skills for research and industry.
