Mathematics forms bridges between knowledge, tradition, and contemporary life.
The continuous development and growth of its many branches, both
classical and modern, permeates and fertilizes all aspects of applied
science and technology, and so has a vital impact on our modern society.
The conference will focus on these aspects and will benefit from the
contribution of several world-famous scientists from mathematics and
related sciences.
La matematica crea ponti fra conoscenza, tradizione e vita quotidiana.
Il continuo sviluppo e la crescita delle sue molteplici ramificazioni,
sia classiche che moderne, dona linfa vitale a tutti gli aspetti delle
scienze applicate e della tecnologia ed ha un impatto fondamentale
sulla nostra società. Al convegno interverranno ricercatori di fama
mondiale che operano nel mondo della matematica o che la utilizzano
nella loro attività di ricerca. Le conferenze saranno in lingua
inglese, ma verrà distribuito materiale tradotto in italiano per
coadiuvarne la fruizione.
